Here's
an old chop I did awhile back. In this tutorial, we will change
it from yellow to blue.

First,
using your prefered "selection" method, select the
body of the car. Be sure not to select parts like the
headlights and grilles.
The tools I
used in this step:
Poly Lasso:
 |

 |
While
your selection is still active press "Ctrl+C"
and then "Ctrl+V" to copy and paste to create a
new layer that only contains the body.
(or, you go use
the "Edit" menu to copy and paste.)

Then,
go:
"Image
-Adjustments
-Hue/Saturation"
Slide the Hue
bar to instantly change the color of the body. Watch it
change before your eyes! What a trip maaannn! I
chose Hue +153 for a baby blue color.

And
there ya have it!

TIPS:
- You
may want to play with brightness/contrast as well as
playing with the "Levels" and "Curves"
to tweak your color to match your liking.
